Medium: Photoshop + Procrerate

This work is an illustration created to embody the song, my favorite song, “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi” by Radiohead (2007). I wanted to represent the ethereal, nostalgic feeling of the song through the ‘weird fishes’. This song is about stumbling upon a strange new love in a deep, dark sea of sadness. I wanted these fish to be fun, exciting, each one with a different story. Their bright fiery colors represent the beautiful colors on the “In Rainbows” ablum cover  which the song is from.

 If I were to go back and take this project with a new approach, I would add more depth, darkness and shadow to the piece to add to the motif of finding light in the darkness.
